Victor Ling To Cheung
Victor Cheung is a registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist in Ontario, Canada, having received extensive TCM education and training in Hong Kong and Canada. He is a long time volunteer for the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA) of Canada and served children with special needs, seniors and First Nations people.
His clinical focuses include health issues in older adults, emotional disorders, pain conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, gynaecological conditions and immune-related issues.
Guided by the principles of Chinese medicine, Victor meticulously assesses and distinguishes the unique conditions of each patient. Drawing from the extensive repertoire of Chinese medicine, which includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and tuina (manual therapy), he formulates tailored treatment plans.
Victor firmly believes that healthcare practitioners should act as partners and assistants to their patients on their journey to well-being. He recognizes the everyday habits and behaviours of individuals accumulate to become decisive factors in their overall health. Consequently, his primary focus on top of the treatment is on fostering open communication with patients, empowering them with knowledge on how to alleviate their conditions through proper diet, posture, exercise, and lifestyle adjustments.
